Following an attempt to use the Amazon FBA program, it was found that storage and shipping fees were too high to maintain optimal profitability. Initially, the carpets were imported in master cartons of 9 units, with only 1000 individual shipping cartons produced in Asia for a cargo of 3200 units in a 40-foot container.
After analysis, it was decided to produce the boxes locally, in France. The benefits were clear
Lower cost than Asian cartons.
Higher quality, with more robust cartons and better suited for cross-border shipments, especially to Germany.
